This card case is made from Italian leather - 100% vegetable tanned with a smooth aniline finish. Italy, often referred to as the home of leather, produces some of the finest leather in the world, and the leather here is from Tuscany in Florence, and has been certified by the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Association. This leather maximizes the texture of the material. Cowhide leather has a flat and smooth surface called "ginmen" in Japanese, and the fiber texture of the skin is uniform, giving it strength and durability.
For these card cases we use solely the shoulder leather which combines firmness with suppleness. You can enjoy the change over time as the feel and look of the leather deepens.
